DavisLang Bowling Tournament

On New Year's Eve we once again participated in the annual DavisLang Bowling Tournament, of which we have yet to win. We had high hopes this year because Josh is still in Albania, but let's face it, we are rotten bowlers. We even cheated this year and brought Amy's friend, Keith. He scored higher than any of us and we still lost. It seems we will never have that prestigious trophy sitting on a shelf in our house, but we do have lots of fun.
We'll get 'em next year!

Aub and Russ

The coveted trophy. It's a beauty!

Two homeless guys we let bowl with us. We fed them some fries.

Kicking the Pole

Once again we participated in the glorious Christmas Eve tradition of "kicking the pole." It was a beautiful event. We had to drive all the way to Murray from South Jordan right after a big snow storm. These pictures were taken with a night vision setting so they are all blurry.

First, the reinactment of the chin injury by Russ.

Then the official "kicking of the pole" begins.

Amy and Lisa

Tyrel would rather hug Lisa than kick the pole.

Merry Christmas Eve!
